Introduction to Elder Mediation and Elder Family Conferencing™
Course Description
This intensive two-day (16 hour) program will orient participants to the special issues that arise when working with older persons, their families and care-givers. As the Core Program in the EMTP, this course provides an intensive introduction to the fundamental knowledge base essential to the practice of mediation and facilitation with this population. Through interactive learning, participants will learn how this knowledge both informs and is integral to the practice of Elder Mediation and Elder Family Conferencing™.
This course was designed to fulfill the standards and objectives for training recommended by the National Elder Mediation Network Training Work Group and documented in the Code of Professional Conduct for Mediators specializing in issues of aging by Elder Mediation Canada.
Instructors: Resa S.Eisen, MSW, RSW and a Faculty of Specialists in the fields of Medicine, Law, Social Work, Gerontology and Alternative Dispute Resolution

When: March 4th and 5th OR April 7th and 8th, 2011
Cost: $800.00 plus HST ($904.00) by cheque or money order. Payment by VISA is accepted but subject to surcharge.
